This necklace was at one time available from my beloved employer, Ten Thousand Villages. It has since been discontinued, so it is no longer available for purchase. I bought this one and now I'm offering it to one of my lucky readers. It's a great holiday gift or a nice treat for yourself, whatever you wanna do. It's a three-strand necklace with black, red, and silvertone beads.
So how can you call this bit of pretty your own, to keep or to give? It's actually relatively simple. All you have to do is like the blog on Facebook by noon (EST) on Thursday, December 1st. I know that's not much time, but it's not like there's a lot to do, either. That afternoon, I will write down the names of all the blog's Facebook fans. Then I will put those names into a box. Then I will put that box into another box. Then I will mail that box to myself. Then when the box arrives, I will rip it open and pull out a name and that person will win the contest.Actually, I'll probably skip all that business with the mail. The postal employees have enough to do at this time of year.
And yes, this means that if you are already a Facebook fan of the blog, you are already entered to win! Boy, don't you have it easy? The rest of you, get cracking! And good luck!
(Big fat hairy legal disclaimer: Ten Thousand Villages is in no way affiliated with this blog or this contest. I work in one of their stores and that's where I bought the prize necklace, that's all.)
Not going to smash it with a hammer??
